Grade 4:
2D Geometry:

• Draw lines of symmetry of 2D shapes
• Identify and compare different quadrilaterals and sort/classify them based on their properties
• Identify benchmark angles (straight, right, half a right angle) using a reference tool

3D Geometry: 

• construct a 3D figure from a picture/model of the figure 
• construct skeletons of 3D figures 
• construct prisms and pyramids from nets

Grade 6

2D Geometry: 

• sort and classify quadrilaterals by geometric properties related to symmetry, angles and sides 
• sort polygons according to the number of lines of symmetry
• measure and construct angles up to 180 and classify (acute, right, obtuse, straight) 
• construct polygons using a variety of tools (given angle and side measurements)
